ICS Merrill, the Investigative Services Division of EMSI, is strengthening its sales organization to support growth in its core markets and expansion into new markets outside the insurance industry. As part of this growth, ICS Merrill is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim McGee to the role of senior vice president of sales and Jon Nickey to national sales director.
Jim McGee will primarily focus on developing business through new markets and relationships outside the insurance industry. He is a seasoned senior insurance executive with extensive experience in business development, claims management and healthcare management services. As senior vice president of sales, he will be responsible for driving national account sales in the insurance and corporate markets, as well as seeking new product opportunities and markets for ICS Merrill.
Most recently, Mr. McGee was senior vice president, business development at ICA Claims where he led business development, sales and marketing initiatives. Prior, he held senior management positions with providers of claims management solutions, leading large sales organizations, managing business development initiatives and handling new business launches for several insurance organizations. He will report directly to Dave Merrill, ICS Merrill president.
Jon Nickey will be responsible for sales operations in ICS Merrills core markets, while maintaining a focus on the organizations strategic growth goals. He brings over 20 years of sales and leadership experience to ICS Merrill.
Immediately prior to joining ICS Merrill, Mr. Nickey was senior vice president, sales and marketing with Innovative Claims Strategies and has held senior sales team leadership and operations roles with organizations including M Hayes, Subrogation Partners and Crawford and Company. He will report to Stacy Steiner-Hanson, ICS Merrill senior vice president of sales.
